So tonight we hit up Octotea 13 at the Long Center. It’s a charity event that supports the emergency fund for AIDS Services of Austin.  It’s a big dance with music, silent auciton, good food and lots of drinks.

I had never been, but this was the 13th year and it was a change in venue from the Oasis to the Long Center. If you’ve never been to the Long Center, it is AWESOME.  The view of downtown and town lake is breathtaking and the building is amazing.

Albert got everyone tickets as a host to the event and I ran into a few friends, as it was the place to be on Sunday night.  I’m hoping to remember it next year to hit it up then.  Great time for a good cause.

My goal for this year is to be more involved in the social cause scene – good times for good causes.
