Part of my job is traveling quite frequently. Recently, i’ve been to Houston, Dallas, Memphis, Charlotte, Pittsburgh and most recently Philidelphia. One of the entertaining things about traveling is people watching – its amazing what people do and what people will discuss in the airport. Nothing salacious or anything – more like making the mundane seem like the most interesting thing ever.

Right now, as my flight is delayed 2 hrs and I am hammering this little blog on my treo, there are discussions of work meetings, Webkin collections and a guy obsessed with discussing his SHOE LACES!

That’s right – shoe laces. Oh he’s unlaced his shoes, he’s compared the length of the old sting to the new one, he’s marvled at how well the bulk of the old string held up despite the fraying of the tips.

Who has the mundane life though – him for the shoe string obsession or me for watching?
