Looking for love? Forget the local tavern, a new study found Philadelphia International is the best airport in the country to ‘make a connection.’

AXE partnered up with Sperling’s BestPlaces to find the top airports in the country for singles to mingle. 

Philadelphia took top honors partially because they are one of the worst airports when it comes to on-time flights.  The percentage of on-time flights falls in the 8th percentile.

The large number of delayed or cancelled flights combined with the fact PHL has six times as many bars, coffee shops and social areas than other airports makes it the perfect place to meet fellow travelers according to the study. 

“I could see the love connection being made you know if you’re stuck for whole a day and you have no one to talk to and if you look at the line now maybe I’ll meet my Mr. Right,” traveler Jasmine Rogers said.
